I didn't set out to build software. I was just tired of losing good people.
I'm Laz Ordonez. I run sales for a home-services company here in Fort Myers, and I hire closers, setters and technicians pretty much year-round.
If you run a sales floor, you already know the problem. Somebody good applies at nine o'clock on a Saturday night. Nobody's in the office. Monday morning you're busy, Tuesday you finally get to the pile — and they've already taken a job somewhere else.
We weren't losing people because we weren't hiring. We were losing them because we were slow.
So I built something to answer them first. It calls, texts and emails every single applicant within minutes — nights and weekends included. It says up front that it's an automated assistant. It asks the same screening questions I'd ask, in English or Spanish, and it books the good ones straight onto the calendar.
Then it took over our hiring
I ran it on my own floor before I ever showed it to anyone else. Here's what happened.
Every person hired where I work in the last six months came through this. The whole telemarketing room, every sales rep — not one of them was found by a human. Nobody stayed up until midnight. Nobody chased a single applicant.
Why I'm telling you
I'm not a software company. I don't have a sales team calling you, and I'm not going to pitch you a demo three weeks out. I'm one person who had this exact problem, fixed it, and figured other owners in home services and insurance have the same headache.
That's also why the offer is what it is: I run it free for seven days on your own live applicants, and you keep every interview it books. If it doesn't book you anything, you've lost nothing but the applicants you were already letting go cold. I'd rather show you than tell you.
